Like “Roy” his dam is also Rachelle AF by Hungarian Bravo, and his sire, Shagya Scherzo AF, is a *Shandor son out of the beautiful imported Koheilan I DK daughter, *Aminah.
Shagya Raja AF is a brilliant uphill mover with amazing balance, cadence, and elastic elevation. All three of his gaits are extremely correct, and Adele says that his back is one of the best riding-horse backs she has ever sat on. “He feels like a magic carpet and travels over rough ground effortlessly.”
He combines his rather masculine showy personality with a kind and gentle disposition; he is a “lady’s horse”– very light and responsive in the hand, even when handled for semen collection.
